Your privacy is important to us and maintaining your trust is our priority. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how H&A Ventures LLC dba Janium (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects the information obtained through your use of our websites, including janium.io and app.janium.io (collectively, the “Websites”), and any related services we provide (the “Services”). By using the Websites or Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to our processing of your personal data as described below.
We operate as an independent entity providing marketing services in the United States and the European Union. Specifically, we help businesses get event attendees, schedule sales meetings, and leads through phone calls, social media interactions, and email campaigns.
We collect two categories of information:
1) Non-Personal Information: This includes information that cannot be used to identify an individual directly, such as aggregate usage data, technical data about the device you use, your browser type, and other anonymized metrics.
2) Personal Information (PII):
-Client Data: Name, title, company name, email address, and phone number.
-Prospect Data: Name, title, company name, and email address when individuals register for events on behalf of our clients.
-Source of Data: We may collect this information from you directly (for example, web forms or direct outreach) or through publicly available sources and secure third-party data providers (such as LinkedIn, Seamless.ai).
-Behavioral Data: Email open rates, LinkedIn profile interactions, or similar engagement metrics.
We do not knowingly collect or process any special categories of personal data (for example, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data).
Directly from You: When you fill out website forms, communicate with us by email, or otherwise provide information directly to us.
Outreach-derived Methods:
-Email outreach and open-rate tracking: We track when our emails are opened to improve communication effectiveness.
-LinkedIn profile views: We may log when we view or engage with your LinkedIn profile as part of our outreach process.
-Phone calling: If you are not listed on the National Do Not Call Registry, we may track when you answer the phone and use that data to inform the best time of day to reach out to you in the future.
Third-Party Sources: We utilize third-party data providers (for example, LinkedIn, Seamless.ai) to supplement or validate contact information.
At this time, we do not use website cookies or other browser-based tracking pixels on our Websites. Therefore, we do not provide a cookie preference management option.
Provision of Services: We use client and prospect data to perform our marketing outreach, schedule qualified meetings, and share event reminders or follow-up messages.
Internal Business Purposes:
-Client Reporting: We document outreach performance and share results with our clients.
-Future Event Invites: Individuals who register for an event may receive invitations to similar future events.
Legal and Compliance: We may process data where necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations, or to protect and enforce our rights and the rights of others.
We do not sell or share client or prospect data with third parties, except as necessary to perform the Services or comply with legal obligations. For example, we may share non sensitive data with a 3rd party data provider to securely enhance the data we have already collected.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal data under the GDPR or UK GDPR include:
-Consent: Where you have given clear consent (for example, subscribing to event updates).
-Legitimate Interests: Where processing is necessary to fulfill our legitimate business interests, such as providing the Services, improving outreach, and communicating event updates.
-Compliance with Laws: Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
We store collected data in cloud-based databases located in the United States, with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to these databases is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job responsibilities. We also implement various industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These measures may include:
-Encryption in Transit and at Rest: Data is encrypted using secure protocols whenever transmitted or stored.
-Access Controls: We employ role-based permissions, unique user logins, and two-factor authentication for administrators.
-Regular Security Assessments: We conduct periodic internal and external audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
-Staff Training: All employees and contractors undergo training on data privacy and security protocols.
Unless otherwise requested by you or required by applicable law, we retain personal data as long as necessary to:
-Maintain and improve the Services.
-Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting requirements.
-Defend ourselves in legal claims or protect our rights.
Once data is no longer needed for these purposes, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Depending on your location and applicable laws (such as the GDPR), you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:
-Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
-Right to Rectification: Request to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

-Right to Data Portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at data@janium.io (mailto:data@janium.io). We may ask you to verify your identity before we fulfill any request. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with applicable laws.
Email Communications: You can opt out of receiving marketing or event notifications from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or by contacting us at data@janium.io.
Data Collection: Because we do not use cookies or tracking pixels on the Websites, there is no cookie preference management necessary. However, you can request that we stop logging LinkedIn profile views or similar outreach metrics by contacting us directly.
We work with third-party providers (for example, Webflow, third-party data providers, and CRM platforms) to facilitate our Services. We require that these providers adhere to strict privacy and data protection practices consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. They are only permitted to process your data for the purposes we specify and in accordance with our instructions.
We currently operate in the United States and the European Union. For users within the EEA or UK, whenever we transfer personal data outside these regions, we ensure an adequate level of protection by using the appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent measures. As required under GDPR, we comply with EU data protection standards, and further details about our EU compliance can be requested by contacting data@janium.io.
We do not knowingly provide Services to or collect information from minors (individuals under 16 years of age or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at data@janium.io. We will delete such data promptly.
In the event of a suspected or actual data breach, we have internal procedures to:
-Investigate the cause and scope of the breach.
-Contain and remediate any security vulnerability.
-Notify affected individuals and/or relevant supervisory authorities (such as EU data protection authorities) within the legally mandated timeframe (e.g., 72 hours under GDPR) if the breach is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
We continuously update and test our data breach response plan to maintain readiness.
We may disclose personal data to law enforcement or governmental agencies if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to:
-Comply with a valid subpoena or similar legal process.
-Protect our rights or property, or that of our customers or others.
-Prevent or investigate fraud or other wrongdoing.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The latest version will always be available on our Websites, and we will note the “Last Updated” date at the top. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, via email or a notice on the Websites). Your continued use of our Services after such changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the updated Policy.
